yeah i do that everyday. mostly because i come home pretty dirty so i just go ahead and strip down as soon as I walk in the door...which happens to be the laundry room.

EVERY DAY

Usually just to tank top, but there were recently instated horrendous uniforms which include an unbreathable men's gray polo that comes down to my elbows. I wear it for... maybe 5 seconds after getting through the door, then it's gone

Prior to Africa I did not do this, because I always lived with roommates/family.

Since moving to Africa, I do this 100% of the time because I live alone and it is 2.356 x 10^9 degrees outside and I don't have air conditioning.

Yes indeed. After putting in 8-10 hours in my work uniform, there is nothing much better than tossing them into the hamper as soon as I get in the door.

I guess I'm the odd one out. I've got three kids around the house so I'm not stripping around them. And I hate the idea of getting more laundry dirty because with the 5 of us, there is already a metric shit ton of it. So I'm not changing into other clothes. So I just wear my work clothes all day (Khakis and a polo). At most I might un-tuck my shirt.

I'm still wearing my work clothes from today and we even went to a high school football game tonight.

And this is one of the nice things about a. not having kids, and b. living alone.

That said, my mother has no qualms about walking around in her underwear sometimes.

It bothers me how on tv shows people are always dressed like they are going out even when they are just lounging around the house. Especially when the women are always wearing dresses and high heels! The only time I am wearing real clothes at home is if I am about to leave, or just got home. Otherwise it's pjs, sweats, a haphazardly tied bathrobe, or nothing.
