I dunno. Raleigh's kinda small, and it doesn't have many sweet jobs in finance. Plus, I wish we had a much larger airport that featured universally black, foreign restroom attendants.

looks like once he graduated broughton in 2011, he decided not to go to college and instead become a blogger. he really caters well to his audience though.

There are cool things about Charlotte (i.e. the Panthers, and the skyline), but Raleigh is far superior.

I grew up in North Raleigh so I've always been used to some newcomers and sprawl, but for me, Raleigh is losing whatever charm that it had.

Too many cars and people and things I don't want or need. And they're slowly starting major development in the watershed. It's not looking good.

When I think of Raleigh, I don't think of my alma mater, or a city with lots of tech jobs, or a family friendly town. I think of class and sophistication.

In all seriousness, at my elementary, the Discovery Place trip was only for "gifted" students. So me and like six rambunctious boys didn't get to go to Charlotte that day. In retrospect, I dodged a bullet.

Also, I recently spent some time at Charlotte Douglas. From that experience, I can say with 100% certainty that the entire city of Charlotte is a blight upon the otherwise great state of North Carolina. I would rather live in a shanty with nothing but tainted moonshine and semen to sustain me.

They are apparently having an 80s night for the 21+ crowd. I plan to show up drunk and ridicule strangers for being nerds who like science and live in Charlotte.

There's at least one other person on the planet who would think this behavior is funny. So I think it's worth the drive.

AHA, you know what else sucks? Mid-90's Charlotte Hornets basketball.

Alonzo Morning and Glen Rice are two of the most selfish players in NBA history. I recently read where they both admitted that the time they had to spend in Charlotte is precisely what turned them into terrible players and even more terrible human beings.

Apparently, Charlotte does have a Trolley Pub and a Party Pedaler.

So please inform the Party Pedaler that Broughton's Mr. Fourth has spoken blogged, and Raleigh will not require their services at this time.

Count yourself fortunate that you have not encountered these pedaling parties or associated with the types of people who do them.

I went to Discovery Place. I finished second in the lock-in scavenger hunt one year and won it the next year. Still mad that Becky won the first time.
