I'm going to visit a native 'murican burial ground and give thanks for their sacrifices. May hit up a casino or two as well to give back some of the wealth that the white man stole from them.

But srsly...I'll be taking the wife and kid to Atlanta to celebrate with my parents and my older brother and his family. Gonna watch the Panthers play at 4:30 (should be enough time for "The Itis" to subside).

We do a big Turkey Fry at our house every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We fry 2 turkeys and grill 1.

Thursday we do different family gatherings in Henderson

we're having my dad's side of the family over at my parents' house. turkey and lamb and most of the traditional thanksgiving fare. nobody's gotta travel more than ~30 minutes to be there which is pretty nice. and then we'll settle in and watch the panthers.

and we also draw names for christmas gifts at thanksgiving.

Was gonna have family come to town and host at my house this year. Wife unexpectantly needs surgery on Monday though so Thanksgiving is pretty much canceled. I'll most likely be eating take away Chinese food (I think Chinese restaurants are the only places open on Thanksgiving...) and playing video games while the wife sleeps. Which honestly doesn't sound that bad.

Already been to 3 Thanksgiving meals last week, and missed a fourth one cuz I was busy.

Was supposed to go to one tomorrow but it got cancelled.

Definitely going to 1, possibly 2, on Thanksgiving Day.

And maybe another one on Friday!

Driving home to Jamestown to help my mom cook this afternoon. Frying a turkey and roasting another tomorrow...then coming back for the NCSU game on Saturday to fry 2 more turkeys at my tailgate!
