Actually I don't know the law on in home indecent exposure but it wouldn't surprise me for you to get arrested if someone complained.

And when I'm dangling, it is when I'm going from the bathroom/closet to the bedroom. So I'm not directly in front of the window. I'm also not exactly on the street level floor.

Based on the laws in Charlotte, you are fine.

There was actually something similar a few years ago where a guy would stand naked in his front door. Neighbors called the police, but they could only ask him to stop, as he wasn't breaking any laws in his own home.
