i have a time warner modem/router - Arris TG something and i have hacked DD-WRT cisco router hardwired to the time warner modem. These two are about 100ft apart.

I'm trying to use qBittorrent on port 49152.

For the sake of this R1 = time warner, R2 = DDWRT

logging into R1 - 192.168.0.1, i go to client list and it shows R2 as 192.168.0.5

I port go into R1 and set 192.168.0.5 for BOTH on port 49152 in Port Forwarding and Port Triggers.

I log into R2 - 192.168.1.1 and make sure UPnP is turned on sure. qTorrent shows up in UPnP list as forwarding both 49152.

Obviously this is not working. I'm thinking i need to set R2 into bridge mode some how into the R1.

Pretty slick. Port forward and upnp also work.

Note: Twc routers use 192.168.0.1 subnet so just translate to that not 192.168.1.1

put your router in DMZ of the time warner router but better to just put the TW router in bridge mode

I do not understand any of this except for the thing about putting one router in bridge mode.
