Guy I work with was going on and on about that flash-chilled coffee shit they mention in the article. He's a coffee snob and was so beat up about this place closing down. "Ya just can't get that anywhere, but those guys were assholes.....I guess."

Yea I don't understand the process or coffee enough to comment. This guy is a huge coffee aficionado, worked in a coffee shop through college, orders locally roasted coffee for the office, and loves to discuss each new roast we get every two months or so.

I appreciate his efforts, cause it's good coffee, but I just drink it and don't have a very developed palate.

But this article is right about Asheville, and especially west Asheville, being way too small of a town for those guys to get away with this. The culture in that area is all wrong for it to be accepted too. I'd move away and start over if I were them.
