I am a graduate student at the College of Design, and this semester my studio project must involve environmental, social, or tourism-related issues within North Carolina. I have decided to create a series of billboards and posters promoting the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation - an ad campaign, of sorts.
I will need a lot of reference material for this project, and while there is plenty of public domain stuff on the Internet, I thought I'd also solicit the good folks of T-Dub to see if anyone may be willing to share their personal photos.
In particular, I am looking for:
-photos of scenic views taken from or near the Parkway, especially if the photos include shots of hairpin turns or the Parkway itself -photos of any sort of flora or fauna, especially wildflowers along the Parkway or leaves when they are changing in the fall -action shots of people sightseeing, hiking, or otherwise enjoying activities related to the Parkway.
I will not be using the photos directly, just as references for illustrations. If you think you may be able to help, please let me know via reply or PM - and there's aways the option of just posting them in this thread for everyone to admire.
Thanks in advance. 1/30/2016 4:00:08 PM |

T-Dub is cool, but you're going to have a much better time with Flickr and the like. 2/1/2016 1:35:14 PM |
