Hi, I need ideas on anchoring a nine foot Confederate flag in my truck. It needs to be suitable for highway use 90+ mph. Thanks friends

do you already have exhaust stacks in your bed or is that something that you still plan on installing? it will make a difference on how best to mount

i'm assuming that you of course have a solid carolina squat going on, so we will need to consider that in regards to the angle of the flag pole

remember, the aerodynamics of truck nuts help to counter the loss of speed due to the drag of the flag

Honestly, the best way to mount a flag on a truck is by putting the flag pole directly through the center of the engine.

I can't tell if these are serious responses but thanks for these ideas. Can some tell me the appropriate pole material ( titanium/carbon fiber )?

get some schedule 40 galvanized pipe and anchor it into some cinder blocks, maybe add some quik-crete for extra stability. sch 40 pipe comes in 2.4" and 1.9" dia. depending on your flag pole size

YEE HAW!!

PVC pipe with a YETI sticker should suffice.

When I yell "get a car you faggot" at bicycle commuters, how much slower will I have to drive for them to get the full effect? On account of the flag noise

Lol at this thread. Don't forget your Tar Heel magnets and stickers as well. I think they sell it as a kit with the flag at Wal-Mart along with a UNC hat.

Make sure to pick out a good loitering spot to hang out with fat skanks. Gas station and walmart/grocery store parking lots work best.
