I think it's real funny how the lady got charged with child abuse.

I've contacted all my intelligent friends in law enforcement--0 people--to have a good laugh. We collectively really enjoyed how stupid the woman was. Just me and nobody.

Thank god bbehe is here. I know he's leaving law enforcement shortly, but surely, he has some hilarious stories to tell us about the times he's managed to needlessly pin people with child abuse. I'm sure the lady was mouthy and obnoxious...so I guess she learned her lesson...and she has the criminal record as evidence! LOL, what a great gag!

Frankly, guys...I wish I was black so I could have even more stories like this! They're all just so comical!

I'm pretty confused by the previous 2 posts... This woman seems a little nutty, and supposedly the Bald Head Island police have a reputation for being ornery, but nobody deserves this treatment just for letting a kid drive a golf cart.

all cops are dicks, and letting your kid drive the cart when you are beside them doesn't deserve anything more than a "sir, you need to be 16 to drive the cart, please switch seats with your son", but that video isn't helping this lady's case

I'm guessing he means its not a dream vacation if you do it every year? but who is he to say what anyone else's dream is.

It should read "a trip they have been looking forward to all year" even though its only May then again look at the level of investigative journalism we are talking about. Meanwhile in Syria...

I dunno man. In my mind, cops have lost having the 'benefit of the doubt'. There's just too many shithead cops doing illegal ass shit, and far too many "good" cops covering up for the shitheads out of "professional courtesy". Professional courtesy, if a civilian did it, would be accessory to the act.

It does seem a bit extreme for a golf cart thing, especially if there was no traffic and no actual danger. Also the lack of any sort of alcohol testing pretty much negates any statement by the cops about intoxication because they can't prove it. Also the cop not showing up to court, even when subpoenaed, is suspect as fuck. If that would have been a civilian there would be a warrant out on them.

I'm not a cop hater, there are some cops out there doing the right thing and being good people, but there are just too many instances over the past few years (and really the past 20+ years since NWA started letting people know about it) of the cops actin a fool.
