I just moved to a place where the kids are actually allowed to play outside, and it is awesome.

Five or six year-old just cruised by on a tattered skateboard. Evidently, he wanted to be sure that I was watching him ride by. He has no idea how big I smiled inside.

damn, went to google maps, and that place sure has been gentrified. It use to be crack house central. Now it looks like white people live there.

I smiled on the outside, too. But my heart was still beaming in a way my face couldn't express.

I also finally smiled and waved at the gentleman at the gas station who was tryna get my attention as hard as he could. He rewarded my grin with a dance routine, and I giggled for him before driving away.

I'm a friendly person!
