I don't really understand why there is a US team, a Canadian team and a North American team.
Is that for the sovereign citizen people? 9/9/2016 10:11:38 AM |

^^ To maximize the number of NHLers playing. The other two options are Slovakia and Switzerland who only have a handful each. I've not seen anyone defend the NHL on having a Team Europe or Team North America (someone for the Mexicans to cheer for!), but they're better quality teams than the Slovaks or Swiss.
Canadians had a hot start of the game but Jonathan Quick stopped everything shot at him. Then with 5 minutes to go in the 1st, the U.S. got two behind Carey Price.
Ryan Kesler boarded the hell out of Shea Weber in the 2nd period. Actually been more fisticuffs than I thought there'd be. Canadians had a 5-on-3 end of the 2nd and couldn't score.
Bishop replaced Quick in the 3rd, and Quick showed he should be the #1 goalie on him. After letting the Canadians climb back one to 3-2, in the middle of the 3rd Bishop went way out of net but Canada got the puck and the only thing saving the U.S. was a defenseman playing goalie for a second.
U.S. score an empty-netter at the end to win 4-2. 9/9/2016 10:17:20 PM |
