Figure there has to be at least one of you. I'm not there yet, but if it goes until Friday, I might WFH

but I am taking off the latter part of the week so I can take my truck in to get it repaired after some dickhead hit it a few weeks ago

i am wfh, but I also can walk to the office.

I saw all types of lines for gas last night, eff that. It will take me the rest of the week at least to go through my half of a tank.

We got a heads-up email that the office manager might authorize it, but it hasn't been necessary for my team yet.

I already work remote whenever I want because it's 2016.

I mean the one gas station that was out of gas yesterday had gas today so I am not sure this is so bad people need to work from home. Maybe you have to go to a second gas station a little out of your way instead.. big deal

Many of us can do exactly what we can in the office from our home, so saving a little bit of gas isn't a big deal. Plus we're going to Charlotte this weekend, so we're trying to save the gas in one car, just in case.

But I doubt it will be that bad for that long.

Wife is working from home, not because we're out of gas, but because all her slacker coworkers used the gas shortage as an excuse to stay home and pretend to do work. She just figured there's no point in driving in to work to sit in an empty office and teleconference all her meetings. She can do that at home.

WFH all week here. Why not, right?

full disclosure - I already work from home ~50% of the time. I can do anything I need to do from anywhere with internet.

I can always WFH when I want as well, but it just feels weird doing it without an 'excuse'

95% of my "team" is in France, Germany, or India. They dont give a flying F where my half-honky ass is sitting.
