I still can't believe they ended 24 with jack getting handed over to the Russians. Horrible way for his character to go out 9/23/2016 4:48:25 PM |

I'm hoping for a Jack Bauer presidency...but given his character's background, I don't see that being very likely.
Also, anyone else notice Gibbs the pirate is the top general? lmao. 9/26/2016 9:31:28 AM |

caught this on my recommended list on netflix. Crazy how much this reminds me of 24.
Im on episode 3 and I like it so far, but I would think that the first step in a situation like this would be to appoint an intermediate "cabinet" or "counsel" comprising of the governors. 5/25/2017 2:34:41 PM |

It was really disjointed.
They went on hiatus at the end of November and it felt like they hired new writers, when it came back the entire second half was a not so subtle attack on the new administration and the people that voted for him. It has moments but 2 episodes were basically on gun control and didn't really advance the plot.
As for do you find out, yes you find out who the puppet master is. Honestly the only reason I am still watching is because Maggie Q is such a badass. 5/26/2017 2:27:28 PM |

I just watched the gun control part, and although I did like it as it showcased some really good acting, especially by the Senator from Montana, it was a bit disjointed with the rest of the series as a whole.
However, I really liked them bringing in the president to be secretary of state. It drives home the point that Jack Bauer was forced into a situation that he never wanted, and now has to deal with the unbelievable amount of responsibility that is given to him.
Overall, the acting and the casting in this show is amazing, and one thing that people are not talking nearly enough about that I absolutely adore are the set pieces. My god, it is so good to see freshly designed set pieces in this modern world that we live in full of CGI explosions and monsters.
This show was very surprising in all of the ways that I did not expect. 6/1/2017 1:17:08 PM |

I loved this show this season. It's the only new show in 2016 that I watched all the way through. I did end up watching Chicago Justice, but it got cut. 6/1/2017 3:07:15 PM |
