We absolutely cannot turn the ball over in this game. UL's defense is always geared for big plays and we need to avoid mistakes in order to have any chance. On D, we need to force some TOs like we did against Clemson because we know Lamar will get his.

Also no Bambard please. Go for it on all 4th downs beyond the 50. Be aggressive DD.

Louisville is a really good team that had a ho-hum week last week. I didn't watch the game, but it seemed like Duke's plan was to milk the clock and frustrate Jackson and the UL offense so they'd press on offense. Maybe we could do something similar

That said, not many good teams have two bad weeks in a row. Crowd won't be as loud as Clemson, and their defense isn't as athletic, but they'll still be better than us. I'm saying 24-38, bad guys.

Duke's plan worked because Jackson missed wide-open guys and they had drops. The gameplan was sound but Louisville still had a bunch of opportunities to blow the game open with big plays.

I mean last year we were playing them tough and then Lamar started chewing us up with his legs. Not sure we have anyone who can actually spy Jackson effectively, best bet might to just let Wright do it and hope he hits him hard enough a few times he'll stop wanting to run it.

jackson is a decent, not great passer. he's obviously an elite runner. hopefully he'll make a couple mistakes with his arm and we'll capitalize.

Jackson is just a hard beast to stop. He is talented enough passing to make you pay if you just load the box or spy him, and if you don't have a spy on him he's an elite runner that will make huge plays. Though I did find it interesting that PFF kinda shit on their OL and that Jackson's mobility masked a lot of deficiencies.

I think Duke definitely showed the blueprint, just to see if we can improve on it or if Louisville will adjust. Our approach will look a lot like the Clemson game except I could see us using a spy more or playing more contain and just forcing Lamar to pass to beat us. But I'm pretty sure if Lamar Jackson brings his A game, he's beating basically anyone. He floundered a bit against Clemson in the 1st quarter and that probably cost them that game. There will be a ton of great athletes on the field, but hard not to say Jackson will be the best one on the field Saturday.

we are going to use the same gameplan as we did last week, except lamar jackson cant throw half as good as watson. so he is going to run a lot. and we are going to hit hard as shit like last week. and knock him out of the game at the start of the third quarter. and win by 5.
