Calling Steve Bannon a white supremacist isn't going to do shit by itself. The reason a guy like Steve Bannon thrives is he portrays himself as persecuted by a SJW witch hunt against any non-mainstream views about race. All we do is feed that perception when we blow up social media/article comments with labeling him a racist and dismissing him.

Not that Bannon isn't a racist. He is quite clearly a racist. But we're going to have to engage his and his follower's claims if we want to have any traction at all with his readership. You're going to have to argue, not dismiss. As much as we think we're past this, race is not a sacred domain where our word is law, it's unfortunately part of the political arena like everything else.
