Wondering if we are playing lineups and rotations for this like its a real ACC game. Which would mean markell loses minutes and only comes in if multiple guards are in foul trouble

This team is fun to watch. Seems to be clicking everywhere. Please don't let this be the last time I feel this way this season.

I'm just thankful we made it through the entire OOC schedule without any WTF losses. We beat everyone we were supposed to, and these last few quite handily.

The announcer even said at the end "I don't know if there's some promotion I haven't heard about..." Pushing like that just to maybe score 100 points was dumb and not worth the risk.

i think letting your starters play period when you're up 30 with 3 minutes left is introducing actual potential for injuries.

well in that case, just put the subs in sooner instead of leaving the starters in but not letting them shoot 3s. and i do agree with you there. would've been a fine time to put Markell in and leave DSJ on the bench.

It's not just about taking the 3's, it's about taking full speed to get there. Take the 3s, fine, but why do they have to be at full throttle?

I just don't understand gassing our players to run up the score on a team this insignificant.

Nice win against an average team! Now on to the brutal ACC schedule. There's no bad teams in the ACC, BC and Georgia Tech are obviously pushing that envelope though. Lots of upsets will happen in the ACC, and I would be surprise if any team escapes with less than 3 loses in the ACC regular. Hope to enjoy some nice wins and avoid some heart wrenching loses.

Johnson did not play because Gottfried suspended him.

That became obvious when he didn't come in when Smith picked up 2 quick fouls. He just said it was a one game thing, so he'll play at Miami.

you guys are so used to playing down to our competition. my opinion is we weren't gassing it out there to "run up the score". just simply playing to our potential for a full 40 minutes finally, regardless of the strength of opponent. We have depth, Rider wore down, and we just kept simply playing. I very much enjoyed the breath of fresh air.

It was DSJ and some bench guys. He was just trying to get an extra assist or two, since he already had an inordinate amount of assists. Clearly, wherever DSJ went he was going to get a lot of minutes (he leads the ACC in mpg, at least prior to only playing 20 minutes against McNeese)
