This has to be the greatest musical number in a Disney movie of all time, right? 8/30/2017 6:34:31 PM

Good movie - I probably enjoy the music from Moana over any other Disney movie.
Oh and with my four year old, I have to listen to this on a daily basis.
You can try try try but you can't expect a demi-god to beat a decapod
As an aside, I recommend to anyone who likes Jemaine Clement to check out the movie "What We Do in the Shadows"

^hm I'll check that out. One of the reasons I love this part in moana is I mentally put Jemaine's head on the crab, which makes it hilarious.
The "Fury Road" coconut pirate scene is also pretty genius in Moana. 8/31/2017 6:17:40 AM

I also like to imagine Dwayne Johnson singing "You're Welcome" with that big goofy shit eating grin he always has. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. 8/31/2017 7:18:57 AM

I had no idea who Jemaine Clement was when I first saw Moana (in theaters). I still don't.
But that Shiny song from out of nowhere was pure awesomeness 8/31/2017 12:47:57 PM

It used to be on Amazon Prime. Not sure if it still is.
Probably one of the funniest movies you've never heard of.
Oh and I read somewhere where they really tried to incorporate a crew that was of Polynesian descent. Both Dwayne Johnson and Jemaine Clement have some, which is in part why they were chosen. 9/1/2017 7:16:42 AM

^^ They are in some mythical realm of monsters below the ocean floor. It's filled with air instead of water. No idea how the hole into the ocean works without pouring water down into the cavern.
^ Last I checked Moana was on netflix streaming. At least that's where I watched it. I know Disney is pulling lots of their movies but it hasn't taken effect yet has it?

The fish are in the ocean, which is above them. There's some sort of barrier keeping the ocean out but the fish fell through. 9/2/2017 6:31:57 PM

I love that threads in chit chat has turned into serious conversations about Disney movies. 10 years ago there would have been some awful picture of some porn adaptation of the movie...but now, y'all actually discuss it...haha
