Updating a previous report, I was 226 tonight. I'm usually around 218, so ~8 pounds

So I'm as fat as the average American, but I don't really get the hype about Thanksgiving. I went to a Friendsgiving a couple weeks ago and that was all the Thanksgiving food I needed for awhile. Of course I don't live in some weird family situation where I'd be expected to eat meals at like 5 different places so I guess that helps me.

^^ The average American weighs 180 pounds... you close to that? Or closer to the average American female weight of 165 pounds?

Surprisingly I only put on about 2-3 lbs this week. I took the week off work and sat around at home for a couple days just watching TV and drinking beer. On Thanksgiving day I went to two family Thanksgiving celebrations and the next morning my grandmother fixed a great big breakfast, which I also gorged on.

To make up for it I have not replenished my beer supply, so that saves 1-2 beers worth of calories a day. Hopefully that will help me take off the weight fairly quickly.

I gained 1.5-2 pounds on Thursday from eating for several hours. But otherwise I have been eating only about 2/3 to 3/4 of usual daily calories since Wednesday (no work, not burning much), so I have either stayed the same or lost up to a pound or so.

Usually put on 3-5 lbs...actually lost a couple this year. Wife is laid up and immobile post-knee surgery so I've spent the last 10 days chasing the 10-month around and carrying my wife everywhere. Painkillers have made her nauseous and unable to eat a lot...which has led me to eating less. I'm okay with it. Hopefully she's recovered by Christmas and I can veg out then.

It was about 3-5 lbs, but it's probably water weight from consuming more sodium than usual. Give it a few days, and I should lose it (I hope!).

Sustained.

Thanksgiving consisted of Chinese food. Which is more impressive for me since I like that more than turkey+stuffing.

I stayed steady. But I've been pretty steady for a couple of weeks now. I need to get over this slump.

Well, I'm trying to lose. I did great and lost like 26 lbs, but I've hit a wall and can't seem to get that weight loss going again. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd rather maintain than gain, but uggg
