and I had a picture of people using hybrid cars like phone -- buy a new one every year and throw away the old one, but I thought that defeats the purpose of being environmentally friendly in the first place... all within a fraction of a second, just before I caught it and read it correctly.

On a more serious note, polymers are never truly broken down. They can be eroded to a particulate level, where fish and other marine life can eat it, as well as all other animals in our ecosystem, and when we eat them, we take in plastic.

Not part of our DNA, but pretty damned close.

I think this could be a thing soon. Did you know that your toothbrush has as many germs as the toilet? You are already putting trash into your body every day and it becomes part of you and your particles bc it infects you. Think about it.
