That's an interesting cross-section view. I wonder which end you're supposed to stick it in. Is the thick ring supposed to be a cervix or something?

I would assume left-to-right, as it would require half of a Louisville Slugger to reach the left side from the opposite direction.

Also, no way you’re going through a real cervix, anyway. If you feel like you are (that slight “pop”), you’re going past/around it, I think. There are a couple of little spaces around there...somethingorother fornix (pl. fornices?), I think.
