A family member wants to remove some very large trees that are very near their house in Wake County.
Anyone have a good experience with a local tree removal company?
(this should probably go in Lounge, but figured I might get more responses here) 2/20/2018 11:40:59 AM

I don't know how common it is, but these guys have a crane - http://youngstreetech.com/ and were cheaper than the other 3 quotes i got. 2/20/2018 12:11:22 PM

We had a few trees taken down and used Blackhawk. Were very pleased with the job they did and the price was similar to all the others. https://www.blackhawktreeinc.com/ 2/21/2018 9:59:49 AM

Arbor Maxx was very good and one other. If they are huge, a crane makes easy work of it, as my mom had 25 pine trees removed in a day and all were 60-90 feet tall. Next day they ground all the stumps. 2/21/2018 10:04:31 AM

i was really happy with bartlett tree experts. i think their removal price wasn't the lowest, but i was most comfortable with them to asses a bunch of trees so just had them also do the removal 2/21/2018 10:24:10 AM

Sorry, I was just clarifying for future recommendations....
I did notice that they don't emphasize "tree removal", but I still plan to contact them. 2/27/2018 4:35:45 PM

Thanks everyone
I had several that were listed on here come out and give estimates, I ended up going with these guys
They had one of the cheaper estimates, and I have nothing but good things to say about the operation. Total professionals, and it was pretty amazing to watch fast and efficient they worked. I would definitely recommend them. 4/18/2018 1:18:27 PM

How much did they charge? I think I ended up paying ~$300 per yuge pine tree to have them yanked out via crane with stumps ground. Trees the crane couldn't reach would have cost more than that (youngs tree tech) 4/18/2018 1:22:36 PM
