I picked up some of this last week because they didn't have any Aquafina sparkling water. The strawberry is okay, nothing special. I'll try the other flavors and report back.

I seem to be in the minority here but I just cannot stand La Croix. Everyone I know loves it though. I read somewhere that La Croix tastes like the only soda in a dystopian future that the government will allow you to drink. I couldn' t agree more.

So is this stuff better?

^^ i dont drink la croix in place of soda though. I just drink it because I often (not always) prefer carbonated water over plain water.

The average can of soda has more sugar than a man should have in a day, and almost twice as much as a woman is should have. And sugar is worse than calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, etc. That's my understanding at least.

I like LaCroix. Once I bought Krogers flavored sparkling water and that shit had artificial sweetener in it and it was terrible.

I have tried that as well (i did not know that it had sweetener in it until I had tried it, because it wasn't something I bought, it was just in our work kitchen). Agreed that it was nasty.

I also tend to agree about the sugar vs sweeteners. The last 5 years or so if I utilize a sweetener (usually for drop coffee) I've stuck to stevia. But who knows if it's really any better than the artificial sweeteners or sugar.

The bubly lime flavor is pretty good. Except I like pretty much every brand of lime flavored sparkling water so it's not a high barrier.
