I almost never post on FB anymore on my actual page unless I am travelling somewhere.

I post all the fucking time on a couple of private FB groups for aviation at RDU and CLT. But they are private and folks with similar interests. Almost none of the usual FB political/social/whatever drama. If I didn't enjoy those I think I would just dump FB altogether.

The private group I am in is one of those "anything goes" groups. Apparently that is not the case. Pretty fucking ridiculous to get a ban when what I posted wasn't even public.
