So since everyone and their uncle made a run on the fuel supplies around Raleigh / Cary, I figured I'd ask here.
Anyone know of a station nearby to get fuel of the 93 octane variety? 9/11/2018 8:39:40 PM

Most stations on South Saunders still had fuel this morning. Also I thought 93 octane was the last fuel type to run out (because people are cheap fuckers). 9/12/2018 9:07:24 AM

I reckon the opposite since a lot of gasoline generators seem to require higher-octane gas.
THE INTERNET ONCE TOLD ME YOU COULD PUT MOTHBALLS IN TO RAISE THE OCTANES 9/12/2018 9:34:56 AM

^^ hahaha, what the fuck are you talking about?
^6 that assumes that they have the same capacity of all grades, and that once they start running short with limited resupply capability, that they order all grades.
i've found in hurricane gas shortages previously that 93-oct was in short supply considerably after regular was attainable. I think it's because they put their highest effort towards re-stocking the regular gas that more people use.
Most cars can pull enough timing to use regular, even if they are designed for 93, at the cost of power output. Some really high-strung, modified stuff (my old supercharged S2000, for example...I'm not sure about). and certainly not anything with older style ignition systems. 9/14/2018 10:32:22 PM
