Cigarettes. Let me preface this with I know how awful it is for me.

I usually have 1 in the morning when I get all of my shit together at work, one after lunch, and one at end of day before I leave work. My gf hates it for obvious reasons so when I get home I don't usually have one until she goes to bed

I have found that if I don't get one incrementally every few hours, everything starts to piss me the fuck off

I have not tried to quit recently.

I smoke cigarettes, but I don't think I'm addicted. Unless you consider the habit an addiction. I can go 10 hours a day at work without even thinking about smoking one, but as soon as I get in my car or start drinking I can smoke back to back.

I think it's just the fact that I enjoy the ritual of smoking. I wish I never started. If I could go back to my 17 year old self I would slap her in the face the first time she picked up that Marlboro red.

There is physiological addiction, and then there is psychological addiction.

We can't tell if you are physiologically addicted or not (go to a lab/doctor to figure it out), but from all what you said, you are definitely psychologically addicted.
