I am not a fan but maybe i should since it has recently been brought to my attention that I shouldnt wear flip flops with jeans. Are ugly rubber shoes more in vogue. I’m not trolling I am truly curious.

I have a couple and wear them all the time for different reasons. Going to the beach or lake, slipping on to go in yard, wear to go to Muay Thai where we train barefooted, or as temporary shoes (Wear them when I am on the way to go hunting or playing sports and then change into my boots/waders/cleats).

Says who? Also, there are different types of flip flops. Some are just bare bones foam and plastic that you can get at the dollar store, others are leather with padding/etc. and are quite a bit "nicer".

Ha mine are nice. This was just a revelation to me that I may be judged for wearing flip flops to walk over to the store. I don’t wear cheap flops and also really give no fucks wheN I’m comfortable wearing them for 15 hours and others complain about their back wearing a good pair of new balances that likely cost $30 less than my ohanas. I’m not judging the NB wearer just saying I did know there was a flip flop hate council until now

Oh and I don’t hate on people who wear crocks. I just don’t like the look of em so I don’t wear em. But to each their own. I don’t crock judge and I’ve never worn a pair. Perhaps they are delightful and I missing out. .

I think it also depends on where you are. Flops and jeans is fine in certain areas and not others. I also wear a cowboy hat that depending where I am gets weird looks but I also had a guy compliment it today and ask where I got it. This was in the triangle. Would I wear it when I went to Chicago. Likely not. Would I wear my flops with jeans at the beach yep.
