Brian Banks is a former football player who was a highly ranked recruit in high school who had committed to play for USC. He was then falsely accused of rape and took a plea bargain on the advice of his lawyer in order to avoid a 40+ year sentence (because he's only like fucking 17 at this time.) Oh also, this 17 year old kid was given like 10 minutes to decide whether to take this deal and wasn't allowed to even consult his mother. Basically, he was failed by his lawyer and the entire "justice" system. He then served 6 years in prison and had to register as a sex offender. A few years later, his accuser admitted to him that she made the whole thing up and kept quiet in order to keep the $1.5 million that she won in a civil suit against the school district (the "rape" happened at their high school.)

Basically, this jackass is claiming he is being falsely accused by name dropping one of the most famous recent examples of a black man being falsely convicted of a crime.
