Wife and I have started a new pandemic tradition for Friday: takeout from an ethnic restaurant + a movie from the country of origin for the food. The idea came to us when we watched a Bollywood picture after eating a Peruvian meal that, while tasty and filling, did nothing to stop our brains from craving Indian food about ten minutes in.

To that end, so far this year we've got:

Clearly we live in an area with a fairly diverse food scene but eventually we're going to start recycling countries.

We saw Parasite last year. I think we're likely to cheat and watch Minari for the next Korean one (although there are several actual Korean films I do still want to see)

Thanks for the tip on The Harder they Come, the Jamaican place near us is one of our favorites and it's coming up soon.
