Sea salt is just regular salt minus the iodine which keeps you from getting a goiter plus some desiccated fish urine for flavor.

Mcdonald's salt used to be a powder that would encase fries in awesomeness. Not it's like these gigantic fucking granules that don't stick to the fries. Just collects in the bottom of the bag.

Once (before Wendy's switched to sea salt and still had the little packets with 2 pockets of salt) I asked for salt because this particular Wendy's was very inconsistent when it came to salting fries. So I'm scarfing down fries while driving and bite into one that's super salty. Turns out i ate a salt packet.

so the mickey dees fries used to be fried in lard, when they announced they switched to vegetable oil many vegetarians assumed they could eat them. they was so mad when it came out there's beef used in the seasoning lol

^ one time I made a fruit bowl and covered the fruit in jello powder for a going away party for a girl going to boot camp. The lil cunt (her dipshit boyfriend did too) declined to eat it because she's vegan and jello is made with animal hooves.

Taking the thread in the wrong direction, but my manager, who is super cool btw, is a vegan. In our team Teams chat, pretty sure he's the only one, but I refrain from talking about lunch/dinner plans etc if I'm going to be talking about meat. Just a small way to be considerate.

I've noticed different salt content among different McD's, but IMO freshness makes a big difference.
Soggy, aged fries with decent salt content - bad.
Crisp fries with any salt content - good.

Lol you can’t find a place with TWO salt packets? Did you go to the worlds poorest mcdonalds or something? Most mcdees have a whole box of salt packs. I use 2 on a fries usually
