Cunane’s second foul (unnecessary) was the biggest difference in the game. Only played 4 minutes in first half.

Yeah the reffing tonight was ... odd ... but not biased one way or the other. My understanding was that the T on Wes was for him standing on the court too much/often but I haven't heard or seen an explanation.

All this game shows me is how much our team needs Cunane. I feel like we didn't struggle as much last year without her on the court but I'm also not sure who at center we lost that would make things change so much.

Great second half, great fight, tough loss to a ranked and respectable team.

I actually feel completely the opposite. Last year pretty much everything ran through her and if she had a bad game, it was going to be a struggle to win. This year, she can an off night and someone else will step up. She only had 1 game last year where she didn't score in double figures. This year she already has 4.

She went out early in the first half after racking up 2 fouls... coincidentally, we scored only 8 points in the 2nd quarter. No one stepped up while she was out -- we floundered. The entire 3rd quarter rebound was fueled directly by her.

I'm talking about over the season as a whole compared to years past, not just one quarter of one game. This team has proven this year that the offense isn't reliant on Cunane on multiple occasions. The last 3 years, if teams could bully her and knock her off her game, our offense would completely fall apart. Cunane has struggled offensively in multiple games this season and it hasn't effected them nearly as much as in years past.

Guess we're just gonna have to agree to disagree

Reynolds Coliseum - Capacity: 5,500

Woman is a clown. She's not technically wrong, but a sell out in WBB is pretty much a once a year event for *most* teams, and the capacity ain't all that different from her own school's. It's also over 3x the average attendance of a WBB game in DI (1582 in 2019).

I know UNC WBB is actually pretty good this year after struggling over the last several years. But kinda funny for them to be talking shit to/about the #5 team in the country. Maybe they’ll win. But saying something that will further pump up a sell out crowd in a road game against a better team than you…it’s an interesting strategy.

Also if you go by the box scores this will be by far the biggest crowd they’ve played in front of so far. Their game @Minnesota was an announced attendance of 3432. Which at quick glance is the largest they’ve played in front of so far.

Their game at Minnesota is next on the list with an attendance of 3400 (capacity 14625.) So clearly UNC does not play better in front of more people

UNC s home attendance has actually gotten progressively worse as the year had gone on. Their first two games were over 2000, and they've shrunk to ~1400 for the conference games. Meanwhile, our least attended home game had about 1000 more people than their most attended home game.

Wow, that's some impressive mental gymnastics. I promise you that the "Gateway Christian Academy" in Bimini, Bahamas was NOT louder. They conveniently don't have an official attendance reported for the VCU game, but the Washington game had a RAUCUS crowd of -- 100 -- people cheering against those brave TarHoles. A picture of the Academy's SPACIOUS interior really gives you an idea of the daunting crowd they played in front of:
