I think we’re maybe 4-5 over right now since a few guys have announced they’re leaving. But the freshmen don’t actually count against you until they enroll. Im sure more transfers out will be announced after spring practices…some sooner, but with the new semester starting idk how the timing of that works.

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised to see some transfers especially from the WR group. Guys like Lesane and Provillon who have been passed on the depth chart would be obvious candidates. Also would expect some more DL and DB attrition.

Probably a QB too. We’ve got Morris coming in. And Finley and McLaughlin on the roster behind Leary. Maybe after spring practice when we have an idea of who the #2 is behind Leary the odd man out will transfer.

I fully expect it to be McLaughlin and it might already be him. I think Finley and McLaughlin got the “Or” tag a lot this season on the depth chart at #2. But the depth chart is pretty useless, they don’t put anything but the bare minimum of information in it each week. I think Finley actually did get a few snaps this year, not sure about McLaughlin, but definitely wouldn’t read anything into that.

Yeah the few times Leary had to come out for any reason (helmet removed, maybe end of the FCS game) it was Finley and not McLaughlin, which surprised me personally.

That seems crazy high. I figured we’d get plenty of preseason hype and maybe even be picked to win the ACC. But 15 ish seems a lot more reasonable than 8.

And we only lose 4 starters. But those are 4 very very important starters (if you count Person and Bam both as starters)

TT will be on a first year coach. UConn is consistently one of the worst teams in FBS. ECU seems to be improving and their QB is back. Can’t afford a loss but if we’re undefeated we’ll make the playoff. Style points will matter. Maybe we can run up the score in some games.
