In the NBA and other sports, what stats would you rather have than another? Like is 6 blocks equal to 6 assists?

Would you rather have 30 td and 3 picks or 60td and 10 picks

Those kind of things.

I’d rather have 165 rbi and 20 hr than 55hr 115 rbi

RBIs are a dumb stat.

I'd rather have 96 TDs and 46 HRs

I'd say rebounds and assists are more comparable. Also steals and blocks.

I’d rather have more rebounds than assists

I would trade 20ppg 10rpg, 10apg, 2spg, 2bpg

For

17ppg, 12 rpg, 8apg, 1.5 spg, 5bpg

rebounds are easier to get than assists. the most assists ever by a player in an NBA game is 30 by Scott Skiles. While not very common anymore, there have been plenty of games when a player had 30 or more rebounds, especially when guys like Wilt and Russell were playing. but rebounds and assists are both a lot more common than blocks or steals. triple doubles are somewhat common nowadays and they're almost always points, rebounds and assists. quadruple doubles are extremely rare, since it's much harder to get double digit steals or blocks
