What’s up with our run game? Predictable play calling. Poor blocking? Backs not finding holes? Run game has been pretty bad last year and this year. And isn’t Wake’s run D bad?

So we aren’t shying away from deep shots tonight, just not connecting on them. But In the process we’ve done virtually no short/easy passes to help morris get in rhythm. I’m not advocating for 17 screen passes. But just a quick slant or something easy maybe?

I think our WRs just suck. Every game other teams make great catches while well covered against us. We rarely make those big catches. Although LeSane had a big one earlier.

Punting from Wake’s 37 on 4th and 19. I get it since it’s such a long distance to pick up. By why not a draw or something on 3rd down to try to pick up just 4 ish yards for FG range?
