I feel like the internet+covid has sort of reduced genuine or hell any realish interactions and local efforts but then again I don't really have the experience to say so. I feel like society in general is maybe more political cause of the internet, but what I mean are more real concentrated activities

Sounds about like what's been happening now, except the brickyard is really just the domain of religious propagation
politics? there was just some verbal abortion riot between some dudes with signs and a bunch of kids. funnily enough the dude started singing a song about why liberals and women are bad or something, yes, singing 11/8/2022 6:25:51 AM

My first year in college was 88-89. While there's always been some political activism, I have never seen anything that compares to my impressions of the activism during the Vietnam War. I've always suspected that stopping the draft did a lot to dampen that activism. 11/8/2022 10:42:06 AM
