2) Season generously with Old Bay
3) Wrap/cocoon in sheet of aluminum foil
4) Microwave on high for 30 mins
5) Enjoy!

Not everybody’s microwave is the same wattage. You should note that in the recipe

For microwaves with lower wattages, wrap more aluminum foil around them

I disagree. I think the only way to cook corn on the cob is rotisserie-style. Get one of these, stick it through the cob, then throw the whole thing in the microwave (I've cut a small hole in my microwave-door to run the rotisserie power-chord out of so I can plug in). Mine never takes more than 20-minutes for corny-perfection.

Alternatively, you can put your microwave in the middle of that thing, and rotate the whole thing as your corn cooks to perfection.

^^^You clearly don’t understand the benefits of using aluminum foil in your microwave cuisine, brah. Research shows that food cooks 50% faster when wrapped in aluminum foil…just try it out for yourself if you don’t believe me.

This thread is about microwaving metal objects, not guitars

I thought this was about making corn, not cooking metal.

But if you want, I'm sure you could wrap the corn in foil AND put it on the rotisserie (and then in the microwave). That may make it even better. But you gotta have the rotisserie.

I thought this thread was about playing corn-themed metal power chords.
