I can't imagine he's ok. If he was he would have been playing. My guess is some sort of torn ligament (MCL maybe) and he felt it while getting up from that tackle.

IDK man just spitballing here. Not sure why else he would have stood up and then sat back down and stayed down like he did unless he felt something in his knee. As someone who has torn an MCL and knows exactly what it feels like that was the first thing that popped in my head. Also once you put a brace on with that injury the joint is pretty stable.

But anyways, he's such a tough dude i can't see anything less keeping him out of a close game like that. I don't want this to be the case, but i fear it's going to be something bad.

Can't you tell an mcl pretty easy on sideline without MRIs? With an mcl would he have been able to try jogging and seeing if he can go? Not arguing, honest questions

MCL injury mostly causes lateral instability. No issues really with bending the knee. I think that's why he came out with a brace wanting to go back in the game, but Doeren said no so he took it off.

Once again, i am just coming out of left field with this so please don't act like this is an informed opinion. But once again, i think it is serious based on 1) his reaction post-tackle and 2) the coaching staff refusing to play him in a critical end of game situation
