Looks like a child or a psychopath wrote it with a weird mixture of mostly capital letters, but then lowercase e, g, i, and y. His capital F is particularly hard to read and jammed way too close to the next letter.

I really had to try hard to read some of the words, even in context.

The handwriting is fine. I like it. Doesn’t look like a child’s handwriting at all. Looks neat. Unique for sure, but it’s neat and uniform imo. My handwriting sucks shit but in similarly use a mix of capitals and lower case.

The deranged thing is that he seems to write exclusively in sharpie? But also somehow writing in sharpie makes his penmanship even more impressive.

I can say that, they taught us cursive in what, 3rd grade? and I used to be able to write papers in cursive. then I got to high school and we never had to use cursive again, and I essentially forgot how to write in it

my signature, consequently, kind of went down in quality

of course that doesn't make much sense, since it's only two words, but my last two letters it's like I've forgotten completely how to write them lol so they're pretty much gibberish

His style of writing, the words he uses…yeah it’s all written in the form of a tweet. It’s also similar to how he talks. Very weird, halting, informal and not at all what we should expect from a president. It doesn’t come across as highly educated or even well thought out at all.

But specifically his handwriting? Yeah it’s different. But it’s fine. It’s definitely not anything like a child’s handwriting.

Well, you see, that comment wasn't so much about the neatness of the penmanship, but the lack of knowledge and awareness of proper use of case that might be expected of a child just learning to write. In the case of a psychopath, it's more like you have the knowledge of what's correct, but then intentionally misuse it because you're not sane. The writing in fat Sharpie might further point to his ceaseless need for attention (which admittedly, I guess I'm inadvertently feeding).

I mean, it's one thing if you're a graphic artist and you have developed highly stylized writing for signage or comic books or something, but if you ran into someone in daily life, like a contractor writing an estimate, and this was his default style of handwriting and use of case, what would you think of it? You'd think this is a normal person with whom I'd be comfortable doing business?

Maybe I will develop a Trumpify script to follow his case use rules and see how you like to read it.

I mentioned it looked liked a psychopath, but that was honestly probably more driven by my baseline knowledge that it was written by Donald Trump, who is objectively psychopathic. Check out the symptom list:
