Dems need to flip 4 senate seats, doubt that will happen

I guess for the house, I picture dems picking up more seats than republicans did in 2022, but less than republicans got in 2010.

Unsure really about any off year governor races

You should most hate the gullible voters of your state.

I really don’t see how the Democrats don’t gain seats this midterm. Any independent or middle-of-the-road voter out there has to be pissed off at this point.

You would think, but you're forgetting how dumb this country is, and how gerrymandered the districts are.

My county 67% of the results in, talarico ahead 55/45. Travis county 60% in, talarico margin like 53%!

Leaving dallas co open 2 more hours due to issues with ppl going to wrong polling places or something. Feel like if cities come in first, and its close, he wins once rural areas come in

Cornyn ahead but barely, and rural areas push paxton over the top i think. Harris co he is 39/39, not a good sign

Looks like talarico is going to win. Ultimately, I hope both sides come together, because right now Crockett seems to be crying foul, and I can see Crocketts side effectively picking up their ball and going home

They (Paxton and Texas gop) did pull some shenanigans on her but she was not going to win anyway. But she still did extremely well. I think Talarico can beat Paxton though.

I'm surprised how well cornyn is doing honestly. I figured Paxton would be the leading vote getter. I think Trump is going to back Cornyn now, because he knows Talarico is stronger against Paxton, etc, and ultimately, it will be a close election in Nov with Cornyn squeaking out a win(cause its hard for a dem to win statewide in TX!)

I wish i could vote in run off in may, i'd vote for paxton just to help him face talarico.

If trump doesn't endorse(i think he will), paxton wins. If trump endorses cornyn, i think cornyn wins. If trump endorses paxton, I think Paxton is nominee, and talarico has a good chance to win in november

I think it is safe to say a majority of wesley hunts 13ish percent goes to paxton. Hunt is deep anti-cornyn from what i heard.

And lastly, i think it says a lot that cornyn side spent so much, and paxton so little. I can see trump withholding endorsement simply for that reason. Cause past history says in a run off, incumbent doesn't win. But trump doesn't want to risk endorsing wrong person
