China took us to the wire at the Summer Games in Paris, but they haven’t won a single gold medal in Milan. Don’t they have some snowy places to train at? Norway leads the pack followed by Italy and USA. Is anyone watching? I guess I’ll watch hockey if USA reaches the quarters.

^^I was pointing out that China has been much less competitive so far in this year's Winter Games than they were in the most recent Summer Games. Do you have any insight as to why that is?

No, but since they had the olympics there 4 years ago, I assume they have plenty of places to train.

You do know the US isn't historically the best at the winter Olympics, right? We have the second most medals in total, and are currently 3rd in medals in this Olympics. Behind only Norway, who is far and away the greatest winter olympic program, and the host country Italy. US will still probably end up second. So yeah they aren't "blowing it"]
