I’m a dog person. We have three, and love them dearly.

But we also realize that not everyone is a dog person, and that they don’t want to meet your dog in the middle of damn Walmart, Target, the grocery store, or any other place where you shouldn’t bring your pet. I don’t even like seeing them in Lowe’s or Home Depot.

You might think your dog is ok, but there may be a day when your dog is having a bad day and takes it out on some unsuspsecting bystander.

Keep your damned dogs at home.

Obviously I’m not including service animals, and people abuse the whole “emotional support animal” deal.

I don't inherently dislike dogs, but I AM allergic to them, so I don't really appreciate the discourteous nature of people bringing them into confined spaces where I also happen to be just because no one is going to stop them. I had to sit beside someone on a plane who had a rat dog in his bag that he was feeding water out of a bottle cap. I got progressively more sniffly during the flight and didn't see he hidden dog until we landed. Thanks, buddy! At least Lowe's is pretty roomy, but still, people are shameless.
