I'd pick composting. I always wanted to be cremated and then put the ash under a freshly planted tree. Wonder if it would like super charge the growth, kinda like how indians taught people to farm by putting a fish under the plant. Composting seems like the best idea anyways! At least logically, imo. We should maximize ourselves and pick the most beneficial option. We are running out of space too. My google speaker just told me 65 million people die per year...that is a ton of compost for farming, plants, etc

I've always said just cremate me. Composting sounds fine, too. I really don't give a damn, but the whole funeral/cemetery industry is pretty disgusting.

an option in Maryland?

isn't it an option everywhere? or that just means it's official state-sanctioned/sponsored there?

I'd prefer to do this as well

cremation scares me, and burial seems like a waste of space. especially since I have no kids and not a single person will give a shit after I'm gone lol

$4,000 - $7,000 to place me gently on some wood chips, alfalfa, and straw is too damn much!

oh wow you have to pay that much?

shit

I guess I'll just end up doing whatever's cheapest and donate whatever wealth I have remaining (presumably) to a cause or institution who will most likely misappropriate it
