Could you make a limiting feature to the topic search so that the searches won't take as long. For instance I only want to search for something I remember being a week ago and would like to find it but the searches respond with all posts in the archives. Appreciate it

true dat-----I know it takes forever to generate the search index-----perhaps you could seperate it into a recent search (like the past week) that generated every hour or every 2 hours

and then into a longer search that generates every week or something

^^ has a good idea. Would be more efficent I'm sure on the back-end too.
