Solution: Upgrade IOS and reload

Was 10.3 really out 5 years ago?

Wow, I'm getting old. I learned on 10.2.

What was the customer's problem?

Heh, it's good to hear that sentiment from the outside.

Being that I only see the broken shit, I wonder how we're still on top.

but then again, i never talk to the 99% of our customers who don't need to call us.

I have seen CISCO routers being configured from up close...I was at India's biggest ISP during December 1999. The Y2K preparations kept many people up.

BACK BEFORE THIS "DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL" BULLSHIT

WHEN I WAS IN THE SERVICE THERE WERE MEN AND THERE WERE BOYS

there are probably 50 people on here that have, not under guidance. I'd bet there are 10-15 that do it everyday. that's like going to the garage and bragging about changing your own oil, it's just fucking stupid.

and that too at some country's biggest ISP

I fully intended to come into this thread talking shit about anything less than a year being weak...but I gotta say, 5.5 years is pretty serious... isn't it about time for them to upgrade that hardware, even?

Oh, but it is, only because most companies perform scheduled software upgrades on a semi-regular basis, and would certainly upgrade hardware in 5 years.
