according to some (including Cramer), GOOG will earn $9/share -- double its current eps.

maybe then its a good time to short?

You're not missing anything except to wait a bit longer as the rise should nearly be done.

what say you all about a modest selloff/profit taking next week?

it'll happen; venture a guess as to how much?

Not me.. I have no idea. I don't generally follow the market as a whole insofar as Indexes are concerned.

I've been living off of calls on my Priceline stock for 6 months. Its volatile enough to create a high premium, yet never cracks $25.

My parents once invested a shitload in the stock market before the 2nd great depression of the 90s. They lost nearly everything they invested, and then some because they had to sell it all when they pulled out of the deal. Now, they hate the thing.

you mean the slight clinton-precipitated recession that was almost finished by 2001 and gave way to the current economic (well-paced) boom?

everybody got greedy in the late 90s, you couldn't lose, they shouldn't hate it - they just need to take a pragmatic long-term approach to it since they probably can't put that much time into investing. i mean how much $ would they have if they hadn't paniced and sold off or invested more at the bottom?

It doesn't look bad. At worst I would imagine that it follows the market.

You can do Jan 7.50 calls and make 5% in a month.

I've got March 7 calls on Sirius...I was convinced Howard's listeners were going to push it up to 8 or 9 even...but recently it seems like all the good news in the world cant push it any higher...they announced today that they beat their 3mm subs estimate by 300 thousand people and the thing is only up about 5 cents...

Cramer basically thinks that everyone has already bought into all the hype, that there is no more room for good news...Im starting to believe him

^ I've got Jan calls at 7.50. Hopefully, the worst thing that could happen would be it staying at the current price so I can at least keep writing calls and make some money.

basically its for floor trading. thomas caldweel owns 22 of those bitches..
the rockefellers and jp morgan also own. i would love to have a seat there. it would cost me a fortune but in 2004 two seats sold for 11% less than average price. your name has to be submitted to the board and along with two sponsorships....wow i've got some work to do if i ever want this to happen

3.5 million per seat..
