I just watched all of season 1 this weekend, and watched the first of season 2 today. And I cant believe what I have been missing the past few months! This is one damn good show. The weirdest part to me is the boat in the ocean and Walt getting taken. That shit was just totally random.

Is that a joke? 10 seasons is a LONG time for a show like this. I could see it going maybe 1, maybe 2 more and keeping up at the pace its at as far as quality. Anything after that and it seems like its going to get really repetitive, or just plain stupid.

you know, i really think sawyer fucked up. how could he see those strange looking people in that tiny ass boat and not have his hand on the gun from the start.

how far can a boat that small really go? am i being stupid or does anyone else agree that a boat that small was not made for long range trips?

well, at first all they could see was a light in their face, so sawyer couldn't have known what kind of boat it was. also, since these are the first people they've seen since they crashed i'm sure they would only be thinking that they are finally going to be rescued and the excitement of seeing another person would overshadow any misgivings about their intentions.

Their "home-base" could be where the black smoke was. They had set out before Sayid and Charlie got there. That is why Sayid and Charlie didn't see them.
