^. Definitely buy and sell in pieces

I'm picking up chunks of ACI leading up to their split this month. Option premiums are really good as well.

^^ That's not really a "Cramer" tactic, it's pretty standard investing strategy.

how are you guys jumping in on gold? I wanted to move into EZM, but I think it's too late. I know there's a way to make money on gold without playing options, but I just feel like I'm a step behind.

GLD invests directly in gold bullion

GDM is an index of mining companies, but appears to be a little more volatile.

"Baidu" in Mandarin means something like, "finding a lover in a crowd"

fitting name

Quote :
"The name of Baidu was inspired by a poem constructed in the ci form by the poet Xin Qiji, written more than 800 years ago during the Song Dynasty. The poem compares the search for a retreating beauty amid chaotic glamour with the search for one's dream while confronted by life's many obstacles. hundreds and thousands of times, for her I searched in chaos, suddenly, I turned by chance, to where the lights were waning, and there she stood. (????????????,????,??????) Baidu, literally meaning hundreds of times, represents persistent search for the ideal"

TIE just keeps going up.

Thanks for the original recommendation guys, btw. I think I'm going to hold onto TIE for a while.
Edit: For the love of God why didn't I buy HANS back when I got some GOOG, too?!!? I definitely thought $120 was too much but it's up $24/share today to $201. *dies*

short term (up until the split), hard to say

medium/long term (couple of months until rest of the year), there is a very visible uptrend in mineral commodities and metals (for TIE + the ones you mentioned)

back to this for a sec...pardon the delayed response.

you could do this and hope the price floats, or you could buy it and sell covered calls.

I got in a 0.135. Originally I put my limit order at 0.13 but no one wanted it after 5-10 minutes so I modified it to 0.135 and it was taken within a few seconds.
So far I got in a 0.18 and 0.135, with a large majority at the former.

it was a raging week for commodities, so obviously there'll be a bit of a selloff today.

tech is in a near term downtrend, its either near bottom or in a downtrend until 2nd half of the year.

may see some renewed interest and a pop in healthcare & biotechs in the coming weeks, and definitely an uptrend towards the end of the year.

wow, an ugly, ugly day for TIE, although it creates a good buying oppurtunity

Those of you who got in PGPM and FPPL will be happy to know that they have been steady and have support at their current levels, so hopefully theres nowhere to go but up. Good to get in at the ground floor.

Good day for NLST. If you think that this isn't going to be a good stock to own going into the Hurricane season, you might want to think again.

What does NLST do?

their statement:

National Storm Management Services, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides insurance restoration services related to residential hail and wind damage repair to residents in Florida, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio. It provides repair and replacement services of roofing, siding, gutter, window, and sundry exterior items. The company is headquartered in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

They just opened an office in Metarie, LA (New Orleans) to handle all the post Katrina work in Lousiana and Mississippi, which has a huge backlog of needed repairs. Look at what the stock was trading during the post Katrina time and what it is at now. Good potential stock as hurricane season starts, there should be a buzz about it in the future. As always, do your own due dilligence.
