This is what I think as well. Hopefully Isaac will eventually get more control of his power while not high.

Parkman's power is strong, but does it make him pass out? When he awoke in episode 4 they told him he'd been drugged.

I'm not sure if Mr. Bennet is evil or just wants to use the Heroes or is just shady and not evil. The previews earlier called him the face of evil, so I have to suspect he's up to no good. I think he does love Claire though and won't see her hurt.

I definitely think Mr. Bennet knew what he was getting when he adopted Claire. As to knowing about her parents, not sure. Maybe that'll be a plotline later on this season or next season.

DL's phasing or walking through walls does seem sweet. If Micah was a badass like mom who could walk through walls like dad he'd be one mean kid.

New York blows up on Wednesday, November 8th according to the newspaper at the end of episode two. I don't think a week in time passes between episodes though, so it may still be early October in the series.

I'll have this week's episode in a few hours and post more thoughts after watching it again.

I def. think Peter tapping in and using the future sight ability shows that Isaac could paint the future without drugs if he tried/concentrated hard enough

I think Peter has the potential to be the biggest badass on the show...kinda curious if he can use more than one power at once (if all of the people are with him) or if he can only do one

I think there's something up with Micah. He seems to know a lot about what's going on, and is content with it. Plus, with 2 parents with powers, he's got to have something.

And of course Isaac can use his power without drugs, he just doesn't know the nature of his power, and probably hasn't really tried. Heroin addiction is pretty confining.

And unless the past commercials were blatantly lying, Bennet has to be evil somehow. And it's obvious he knew about Claire's powers from the beginning, even going so far as to have killed or manipulated her original parents.

I wish they wouldn't be so stingy with advancing the plot, that's one thing that pisses me off about Lost. I hope this nuke thing is resolved at least by this season's end, if not earlier.

Also of note is that Hiro's powers has some limitations of affecting the past because of something he called a "rift."

The main questions are what is the source of the nuclear bomb, what is the mind-reader's role in all of this, what is DL's role, and who's Siler.

One question that was answered is that the blonde chick's other personality is working for the "bad guys" and she has no control over it, and she also has super-strength in her other personality.

The preview for the next episode has her being at odds with her other self. Even this episode shows the same thing. The other side is looking out for itself, which just happens to be good (as far as physical well-being) for the mother side too. But, it's pretty clear that the mother side wants to get out of the whole crime game, while the other side is fully intent on sticking with it.

I am also thinking that Micah's power is progressig and developing...he does seem to know alot and communicates with certain knowledge and understanding that just is not normal for his age/situation. IMO anyway.

I hope you all are right that Isaac can use his powers if he does not use drugs...or else he is pretty uselsee since he is broke and can't buy no drugs. Guess that will make his character development even more enjoyable...he looked so enthralled at watching Peter paint...(love the eye thing)...did Peter's brother (Nathan I think) eye's go all funky when he flew...Hiro's eyes does not do it either I don't think.

Peter will def be the man when he is around different "Heros".

Peter would own in the a heroes vs. villains match, he would have all the powers of all of them. They might have to introduce some why of blocking his power or something ... maybe through some kind of telepathic application of whatever they did to the cop.

Also could someone clear up the whole conversation between Nathan and the hotel manager? From what I understand, the mob boss allowed Nikki to pay off her debt by sleeping with Nathan so that he could get it on tape to use as blackmail with Nathan. But it seemed as if the mob boss was already paying Nathan, so essentially Nathan was already a puppet for the mob boss?

I don't think Niki's aggressive side wants to be a criminal, but I've been wrong before when it comes to this show. I do think that she gets some sort of strength boost when her aggressive side takes over, and I have no idea how she split the thug in half in her garage in episode one.

Micah may have some sort of clairvoyant power, or accelerated learning and intelligence maybe?

I think the funky eyes thing is a part of the seeing the future power.

We get to see two Heroes face off next week from the looks of the previews. DL vs. Niki in a 12 rounder to be the undisputed parent of Micah. According to the graphic novel for the week, DL was framed. Pretty interesting stuff: http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/novel_005.shtml

In episode four, when Nathan is approached on the street by Mohinder, Nathan mentions that Linderman may have had his father, but he wasn't scared of Linderman. Linderman had Niki sleep with Petrelli so they could tape it and blackmail and control him. Nathan seemed to already have some sort of agreement with Linderman, and apparently whatever Linderman wants Nathan for is something he may have to be coerced into doing. The four million Nathan asked for from Linderman's associate should make it easier for him though. What BobbyDigital said basically. Could Linderman be involved with Mr. Bennet?

I'm definitely interested in finding out what Hiro was talking about when he mentioned a 'rift', although I'd think they can save that for a (much) later date.

This show moves too slow in plot for someone? I think it's great that they answer questions and then give you even more every week. I'm sure they will deal with the nuke by the end of the season. I'm hoping they deal with it by mid-November and in the meantime set up an even grander threat.

How about the fact that episode four ends with Hiro telling Peter, 'Peter Petrelli, I have a message for you', and episode five ends with Peter telling Hiro, 'Hiro Nakamura, I have a message for you'. For some reason I find this sorta shit entertaining.

I think the painting Peter finishes is of Sylar taking Claire's brain. I also think that in that picture the shadowy figure in the baseball cap is the man in the baseball cap at the end of episode three who appeared to have multiple powers.

i read something where creator tim kring said they planned to finish the first story arc around midseason and start a new one...so new york going nuclear will prolly be wrapped up in a few more episodes
