LOL @ THE FSU PPLES

in case you guys forget, chuck didnt do too badly when he was surrounded by talent and good assistant coaches....i think he would do well in FSU or at Miami. Not to mention he is used to coaching thugs

Uhh

Chuck is nowhere NEAR worse then O'Cain.

O'Cain sucked in a time the entire conference was worse then it was now (if you can even begin to imagine that).

O'cain also didn't have the resources that Chuck had. And you can't say he was that much worse. He had a couple good seasons and beat some decent teams.

Amato is a barely a notch above O'Cain in my opinion and at least a notch or two below Sheridan.

Losing football teams are unacceptable with the level of investment the fans have put into this program. Without an all-time great QB, losing football has been the rule rather than the exception in the Chuck Amato era. At this point the only reason Chuck should be kept for another year is if the powers that be KNOW Cowher will come here after next season, but not this season. If we keep CTC around for next season, and we don't get Cowher (or someone on his level) next year, heads should roll.

I disagree.

I can tolerate losing teams that are competitive and give it 100%, even considering the facilities. Sometimes you just have to get your ass beaten.

I can NOT tolerate losing teams that act like they're winning on the field...like getting stupid penalties, personal fouls, dropping passes b/c of a lack of concentration, celebrating every tackle, and just looking stupid in general. Its a reflection of poor coaching...you shouldnt be arogant as fuck when you're losing.

^But then the fans wouldn't get treated to things like cartwheels when the special teams actually stop the opposing team from running 80 yards up the field.

We should have been penalized for that one.

^haha actually he tripped like hell on that front flip... he was just jumping around a little and fell like a douchebag, and did a flip in the way down to make it look good. He didnt do a flip on purpose I can guarantee that....at least from what I saw on TV.

no, he clearly tripped over his own feet and stumbled forward for a few steps before he decided to roll instead of falling flat on his face.

^^The station I was watching only covered an angle that showed the trip from the waist up, so it most definitely looked like a celebration.

The flip was to cover up the fact that he can't walk on his own two feet.
