LOL @ THE FSU PPLES
Quote : | "I'm a steeler fan, and I think Cowher very well may leave Pittsburgh after this season. He just built a huge house in NC and wants to move back there. Uhh
Chuck is nowhere NEAR worse then O'Cain.
O'Cain sucked in a time the entire conference was worse then it was now (if you can even begin to imagine that). 11/13/2006 10:13:02 AM |

O'cain also didn't have the resources that Chuck had. And you can't say he was that much worse. He had a couple good seasons and beat some decent teams.
Amato is a barely a notch above O'Cain in my opinion and at least a notch or two below Sheridan.11/13/2006 10:53:16 AM |

Losing football teams are unacceptable with the level of investment the fans have put into this program. Without an all-time great QB, losing football has been the rule rather than the exception in the Chuck Amato era. At this point the only reason Chuck should be kept for another year is if the powers that be KNOW Cowher will come here after next season, but not this season. If we keep CTC around for next season, and we don't get Cowher (or someone on his level) next year, heads should roll. 11/13/2006 11:06:55 AM |

I disagree.
I can tolerate losing teams that are competitive and give it 100%, even considering the facilities. Sometimes you just have to get your ass beaten.
I can NOT tolerate losing teams that act like they're winning on the field...like getting stupid penalties, personal fouls, dropping passes b/c of a lack of concentration, celebrating every tackle, and just looking stupid in general. Its a reflection of poor coaching...you shouldnt be arogant as fuck when you're losing. 11/13/2006 11:58:47 AM |

^But then the fans wouldn't get treated to things like cartwheels when the special teams actually stop the opposing team from running 80 yards up the field.
We should have been penalized for that one. 11/13/2006 12:19:51 PM |
