I'd imagine the Asheville show will be similar, for those wondering...

For what it's worth, it seemed like Blake was totally into most of the pre-Blacklight stuff and played those songs more enthusiastically (other than Dreamworld, obviously). I enjoyed Blake's stage presence (no homo) and it looked like he was having too much fun up there, which is what I like to see when I go to see a concert--the musicians enjoying what they're doing. Jenny was doing her thing being all cute and indie and Jenny. I'm a really hard critic, especially about things I've just seen for the first time...and overall, I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't disappointed with the show--it was exactly what I expected and I'm a bit disappointed by creating that level of expectation...but whatever, it was fun and worth the trip.

Also, the Norva is awesome. I walked in and immediately thought--why the hell haven't I been here before???

The last time they played the Cradle, there was a great moment when one of Blake's Teles shorted out and he finally gave up on it, wrapped his arms around Jenny, and played his part on her guitar.
