Picked up Titanium Fallen at Cary Target Wandered ALL THE HELL AROUND SOUTH RALEIGH and ended up ACCIDENTALLY DRIVING TO FUQUAY (dont ask) and found nothing but dropkick and longarm. Which are cool figures, I just wanted more :/

Got Payload, Dreadwing, and Voyager Megs in Boone earlier this week.

Garner Walmart had one Ultimate Bumblebee this morning, I left it since I'm getting one for the bday.

So far for this wave:

voyager megs sucks and has cankles or something

longarm looks like a bionicle

payload is made of crappy plastic and falls apart easily but looks cool

dropkick fucking rules

Is Leader Brawl in this wave? Also, i heard a rumor about a metallic Leader Megs - anything to that?

-Dreadwing is terrible

-Leader Brawl ships separately from deluxes/voyagers but is technically in this "wave". Which has been coming out at a snail's pace.

-MP Starscream is, I think, October, which means we'll see it once at the Fuquay Walmart in November and never again. Skywarp is importable in September.

i went to Big Lots to buy the KO of Transmetals 2 Megatron but they were out

they did have a giant Transmetals Rattrap, Beast Machines Prime, and Lioconvoy for $5 each

I asked for someone to open a case (they come three to a case) for me to get one, and she said, "It's okay, you can take the whole box if you want." Apparently someone just before me had bought two cases.

^I would assume they never made it to the shelves. They only had about 4-6 boxes to begin with from what I could tell, and from this and the TFW sightings thread, these are probably going fast. I'd get out there TODAY if you want a MP Starscream.

and they're about $53 after tax.

^ not enough free cash at the moment or I would've picked up two or three extras for people when I got mine. I'd get out there right now and check any Walmart that you haven't yet (new bern ave, etc) because these things aren't even making it to the shelves in most places. Scalpers are buying these dozens at a time.

also, via tfw2005, hillsborough walmart had 4 left as of about 4 pm, and apparently cary has yet to get stock.

I found 2 last night at the Super Wal-Mart on New Bern Ave. I did see one more case, but it looked like it had already been opened. I couldn't get to it without tipping the palette over. Still might be worth checking into if you can't find them anyplace else.

MP Starscream is far and away the most amazing Transformer I've bought in a very long time, ranking up there above Alternators Mirage and Hound in my book. For those of you who didn't know, this particular Transformer was designed by Shoji Kawamori, the creator of the Macross series. He's regarded as one of the foremost inventive creators of transforming aircraft. I can't wait to see the new Macross Frontier series coming next year.

^ of course! Botcon is the only 'con I go to though, its extremely well funded/run, the hotels are always very nice, its basically an excuse to take a trip to a random US city once a year while dorking out for three days.

That and TF conventions are about infinite times less creepy than any other scifi con I can think of.

BBTS is good in the sense that its like an online comic shop, where you can get random crap that isn't readily available. BBTS is bad in the sense that its like an online comic shop, where they're a secondhand dealer (as far as toys go) and all of their margin comes from markup over regular retail.

Though, for preorders of things like the upcoming e-hobby black Ironhide, I don't mind their markup - the Jap. retail price + shipping ~= their price.

I heard the next wave of Classics will be out next fall. Prowl and Sunstreaker have been confirmed. Another triple changer will be involved (Octane from what I hear). A tank was mentioned.. possibly Warpath. I've heard that Ironhide, Sideswipe, and Bluestreak may be in too.
